Cooking in state-of-the-art class.

The Perfect Custom Kitchen

Our state-of-the-art kitchens are all about options. There are so many different ways to build a kitchen around a cook and we offer a broad spectrum of custom ways to create a kitchen that’s worth remodeling for.

We offer several varieties of high-quality cabinets from several different suppliers. We can adapt cabinets and kitchen constellations to your preferred way of cooking. We can recommend the best ways to modify appliance placement, where to put islands and how to maximize your space.

All of our projects begin with a Design Consultation.

Kitchen Remodel FAQ

This depends on how extensive the remodel is. Installing new cabinets and countertops can take a few days. New flooring adds about a week, depending on the size of the kitchen. A full kitchen remodel which involves changing the constellation of the kitchen (relocating cabinets, adding new appliances, etc.) can take a few weeks.

Your estimate will include a rough estimate of how much time the remodel should take assuming everything goes according to plan.

What many kitchen remodelers don’t tell you is that if something is opened up and found to be not up to code (such as electrical or plumbing work), we are responsible for bringing it up to code. This is not up to the contractor doing the work, but dependent on the inspector from the city or county building department. If something is found that is outside the original scope of work, we will issue a change order and advocate for you with the building department to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible.

There are also times when something is uncovered in the early stages of the project that could not have been anticipated and will need to be fixed for the project to proceed. In that case, a change order will be issued to correct the problem, so we can get the project back on track as quickly as possible.

While these situations don’t arise often, it’s important to be aware that they are a possibility. We will always maintain communication with you and work to make the process of correcting them as easy as possible.

Some of the features we can build into your kitchen include:

  • Custom cabinets
  • Built-in and hidden appliances
  • Smart home features
  • No-hardware opening cabinets
  • Kitchen mosaic backsplashes
  • Double kitchen islands
  • Range hoods
  • Built-in storage
  • Double pantries
  • Statement light fixtures and recessed lighting

Most kitchen remodels will need a permit, but some will not. If you are doing a like-for-like exchange of the cabinets and flooring, you may not need a permit depending on the city and county you live in. We will determine whether you need a permit as part of your design consultation and estimate.

We believe that full transparency is the best policy. Below, you will find a thorough look at our process from start to finish.

  1. All of our projects begin with a Design Consultation. You can schedule this yourself by clicking here or by calling the office at (727) 440-4480.
  2. We will send a Design Specialist to your home who will discuss design options and measure your project. We can often give a rough estimate at this consultation.
  3. We may follow up with a walk through with the Project Manager depending on the complexity of the project.
  4. We will send you a formal, itemized estimate within 48 hours of your Design Consultation. This estimate will include the estimated timeline for your project completion.
  5. Once you email us written confirmation of the estimate, we will email a formal contract for you to sign. This contract will include the itemized estimate you approved and a payment schedule. A deposit payment is due at contract closing. Payments will be due at the start, midway and closing of the project.
  6. Once we receive the signed contract and the first deposit, we will send over a Notice of Commencement to be notarized to start the permitting process (if necessary). We will also need a recent survey of your home.
  7. If you need a permit, we will apply for them. Depending on the county and/or city we need to apply through, the permits can take up to 2 months to be approved. Some building departments have faster processing times than others.
  8. We will order the materials and schedule delivery to your home. There may be some appliances or materials that you choose and arrange for your own delivery depending on your preference.
  9. With your permission, a few days prior to your installation, we will schedule “before” pictures to be taken of your installation.
  10. The project will commence and we will collect the first payment.
  11. Inspections will be scheduled if you have a permit and performed as necessary throughout the project.
  12. At the midway point specified in your contract, we will collect the third payment.
  13. Project manager performs final walk through and collects final payment.
  14. With your permission, we will schedule “after” pictures to be taken of your installation. We would be happy to send you copies of these pictures.
